A NEW section dedicated to teaching people how to be or become Practically Smart.
I’m a very practical person, which sometimes may make my methods seem strange. Until you understand the practical nature behind them.
To be practically smart, you often have to abandon conventional wisdom. Conventional wisdom is usually safe, but not very rewarding. Do good, be nice, don’t rock the boat, and you’ll keep your job, get along with the neighbors, and hopefully retire one day.
So great, what? You get to exist for however many years are given to you on this earth? Is that all you’re here for?
Now let’s get practical. In order to thrive, rather than simply live or exist, sometimes you take a risk. Learning how to make the best risk decisions will be one of the key factors in how successful your efforts in life will be.
